The Men's Accountability Group will be meeting at 7 pm in the Blue Bean Coffee shop on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month starting again in August.  Scott and I will be discussing a new book entitled "The New Answers Book #1".  We will meet at the Blue Bean Coffee shop near South 134th and Western. How Can I Become a Christian?

First you must:

Admit to yourself and to God that you are a sinner (Romans 3:23) and you want a Savior.

Believe that Jesus is the Son of God (John 1:12-13) and that He alone (John 14:6) can save you from your sin and get you to heaven.

Confess to God (Romans 10:9-10) that you need Him in your life and ask Him to save you (Acts 16:31) and make you into the person He wants you to be (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Pray something like this:

Dear Father God, I know that my life is full of sin and my disobedience breaks your heart. I also know that I cannot do enough or be good enough to save myself and get to heaven. I need a Savior. Right now, I am asking you to forgive my sin, to send your Holy Spirit to live in me and to take control of my life. I receive the gift of your Son, Jesus, to be my Savior. Please save me and make me into the person that you want me to be.
