         Prayer

Philippians 4:6-7

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

We believe in the power of prayer. We connect with God through prayer to see His power transform lives. Jesus said in John 16:24 "Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full." We have been called to pray and seek Him in all situations. We take prayer very seriously. We encourage all of our people to have a dedicated and purposeful prayer life and we provide several occasions for corporate prayer:

Saturday Night Prayer

We meet every Saturday at 6:00pm for a time of worshipful prayer. We spend a short time in worship, then the majority of our time in prayer. We pray for:

  • Our nation, state and community
  • The church of Jesus Christ throughout the world
  • Our leadership
  • Our upcoming services and events
  • Prayer requests that have been received

3 Days of Prayer

Once a month, usually during the third week of each month, we have 3 Days of Corporate Prayer. We meet at the church each evening during this time for anyone that would like to come to the building to pray or be prayed for. We encourage all of our people to set some time aside throughout the day to pray and seek God, whether they come to the building or not.

We have a prayer room at the building that we encourage people to use. Several use this room to pray every Sunday morning prior to the service.

Prayer is important and powerful. We have witnessed God's hand at work through many of our prayers. If you have a prayer request please send it to us. We would be honored to have the opportunity to pray for you. If you would like to come and join us in our prayer meetings, you would be more than welcome. Come see us. Even if you don't come join us, remember 1 Thessalonians 5:17 "Pray without ceasing."
