OKC Zoo Trip - June 3rd

Well, it that wonderful time of year when the SuperKids go with the men to the OKC Zoo.  There's lots of things going on at the zoo.

After worship on Sunday June 3rd we will eat in the fellowship hall then we'll head for the zoo.  We need as many men as possible. Permission slips are required even if one of your parents are going.  Contact Johnny Fowler for more information.

Memorial Day Cookout

Every year at Memorial Day we celebrate and have family fun.  This year (Sunday evening May 29th at 5:30 pm) we are making "home made" ice cream, playing basket ball and volleyball, having a Moon jump for the younger ones, games, food (hot dogs, hamburgers etc).   Come a be part of our family as we serve and love each other.  We love Jesus and Jesus wants us to love each other.  You'll have a great time.
 
River Ranch Camp

Hey family, River Ranch is officially booked for July 11th -13th.  There's a raft trip the first day and a canoe the next with lots and lots of fun, food and swimming.  If you haven't been then you are missing out on a great event.  We will be having a fundraiser "Indian Taco Lunch" soon.  A $45 deposit is due by June 13th.  There's lots more. A daily word of exultation.
  • Romans 15:5-6
    “May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

How Can I Become a Christian?

First you must:

Admit to yourself and to God that you are a sinner (Romans 3:23) and you want a Savior.

Believe that Jesus is the Son of God (John 1:12-13) and that He alone (John 14:6) can save you from your sin and get you to heaven.

Confess to God (Romans 10:9-10) that you need Him in your life and ask Him to save you (Acts 16:31) and make you into the person He wants you to be (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Pray something like this:

Dear Father God, I know that my life is full of sin and my disobedience breaks your heart. I also know that I cannot do enough or be good enough to save myself and get to heaven. I need a Savior. Right now, I am asking you to forgive my sin, to send your Holy Spirit to live in me and to take control of my life. I receive the gift of your Son, Jesus, to be my Savior. Please save me and make me into the person that you want me to be.
