Youth Service - Live Band!

Wednesday, August 20th at 7 pm, our youth will present their "Back To School Youth Service". We will have a "live worship band". Pastor Jon and Ron will be leading the worship. There will be pizza and baked goods following the service. Don't miss this chance to be blessed by our youth group.

"River Ranch 2008 Was A Blast"

Monday we arrived before 2 pm and went on a short 1 mile raft trip and afterwards we had an all you can eat Pizza supper. Monday night worship was great and we were joined by the Good Shepherd youth.  Afterwards we retired to a time of personal testimony and time with Jesus.  Finally, around 11:30 pm everyone ran to make it back to their cabins, because we had been told about the dangerous dogs that would get anyone caught outside after 11.

Tuesday morning we enjoyed quiet time in the Word, a breakfast of biscuit and gravy and left on the canoe trip just before lunch.  We stopped about halfway in the canoe trip for lunch. Tuesday evening we played volley ball against Good Shepherd youth and laughed and laughed and laughed. Tuesday night was initiation into the Ooga Booga club for all non-members.

NBFC youth now hold the hot dog record at River Ranch. Sterling broke the current record by one hotdog on the Saturday night all you can eat by eating over 1.25 pounds of hotdog meat, "with sides". 

We also broke even 2/2 on volley ball against the Good Shepherd youth.  Next year we plan to be there at the same time to try again.
