A Note From Pastor

Dear Church Family,

Today I will begin the last section of my series called: Give Me A Break. So far we have taken a break from work, food and distractions. Now we are going to do two or three messages entitled: Give Me A Break From Media. In these messages we will look at how the media is shaping our culture. All kinds of media touches our lives each and every day, from the newspaper to the internet, from text messages to MySpace. From chat sites, to Web Cams and much much more.

Though none of these things are inherently evil they can be used for evil purposes as well as good. God has given people in our world the ability to create wonderful communications tools. the unfortunate thing is many people have learned to use those things in ways that can destroy our lives, our country even our world. God intends things for our good, but the enemy is always figuring out ways to use them for our demise.

May we be people who use media in proper ways to reach and lost world who needs the good news of Jesus Christ.
