Message Notes

Dear Cords,

If you actually read this article you may wonder: "Why in the world is he calling us 'cords'"?

Today's message is a part of a series I began last Sunday entitled: The Amazing Race. As we discovered last week we are all involved in the race. You may think you have not actually entered a race, but if you are a part of the human race you are in this race. As believers the Bible tells us that we are definitely in the race.

Now back to the "cords" thing. Solomon tells us in Ecclesiastes that it is not wise to run this race alone. We were never meant to be alone in life as we will discover today in this sermon entitled: Travel With A Partner.

It is really as easy as One, Two, Three. Is anything really that easy? According to the passage we will examine today Solomon tells us that it is meaningless to be just a One. He says it is better if we are Two. Then he ends by saying that Three-fold cord is not easily broken.

Simply put: We need each other and we need Jesus to be the cord that binds us together. That kind of cord is not easily broken.

In Jesus,

Pastor Ron
