Step 1. Admit to yourself and to God that you are a sinner (Romans 3:23) and you want a Savior.

Step 2. Believe that Jesus is the Son of God (John 1:12-13) and that He alone (John 14:6) can save you from your sin and get you to heaven.

Step 3. Confess to God (Romans 10:9-10) that you need Him in your life and ask Him to save you (Acts 16:31) and make you into the person He wants you to be (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Pray something like this:

Dear God, I know that my life is full of sin and my disobedience breaks your heart. I also know that I cannot do enough or be good enough to save myself and get to heaven. I need a Savior. Right now, I am asking you to forgive my sin, to send your Holy Spirit to live in me and to take control of my life. I receive the gift of your Son, Jesus, to be my Savior. Please save me and make me into the person that you want me to be.

I have invited Jesus Christ into my life, what do I do now?

• Tell someone. Find another Christian and tell them about your decision so they can help you in your new life.
• Go to church. You need to find a church that will encourage you and teach you the Bible so you can grow and serve your Lord, Jesus. If you need a Bible, ask your Pastor for one.
• Be Baptized. Jesus tells us to follow Him in obedience and our first act of obedience should be Baptism by immersion.
• Read your Bible. The Bible is God’s love letter to us. It gives us instruction and guidance as we live this new, abundant, life.
• Pray. Talk to God as you would your best friend. Only by spending time with Him do we get to know Him. Also, don’t forget to listen. He will speak to you too.
• Hope. Keep your Hope in Jesus. Jesus is our Savior and He is Coming Again! "Be Ready!"
